To apply for a job on Hovertask, open the Jobs page, choose a job that is still open, and tap "Apply now". You need a free Hovertask account. Your first few applications are free; after that, applying needs Hovertask membership, a one-time payment.
Step 1: Find jobs that match you
On the Jobs page you can:
- Choose a category, such as Sales, Technology, Finance or Marketing.
- Type a location, such as your city or state. Jobs that can be done from anywhere show "Remote".
- Choose the job type: full-time, part-time, contract or internship.
- Sort by newest, highest pay or closing date.
Step 2: Read the job page carefully
Each job shows the employer, the location, the job type, the salary when the employer gives one, the requirements and the closing date ("Apply by"). Jobs whose closing date has passed are removed from the list and marked as closed, so you do not waste time on them.
Step 3: Apply
- Tap Apply now. If you do not have an account yet, sign up; you will come straight back to the job.
- Fill in the application form on your dashboard, or follow the employer's instructions.
- Some jobs come from other job boards. For those, Hovertask shows you how to apply on the employer's own website or by email.
Step 4: Track your applications
Go to your dashboard to see every job you applied for and whether it is pending, accepted or declined.
Tips for a stronger application
- Apply early, well before the closing date.
- Make your CV match the requirements listed on the job page.
- Keep your phone and email active so the employer can reach you.
Stay safe
Hovertask does not hire for these jobs; employers choose who they hire. Never pay anyone who promises you a job in return for money. If a job looks suspicious, tell us.
